Catch-up

I have been a very poor blogger lately. Probably because I haven't really been home in a few weeks! And on the off chance I am home, I just don't have the time. The school year has started. All my kids are enjoying their teachers. We are preparing to move to Sarasota in the next month or so. Byron leaves this up coming week to start his new job. I will truly be glad to get settled in our new home(when we actually get one!) But I have to admit I am just so sad to leave my home here. I have always had a love for the idea of living in the south. Maybe I have a "Southern Soul". I have made some truly wonderful friends here that I am going to miss so much being able to see all the time. I hope our life in Florida will be as good as here, if not better. I am an optimistic person, so I guess it just might be! I have been taking tennis lessons the last month and a half. I have played tennis practically my whole life but have alway been horrible! I really is so sad. I finally however found a teacher that is perfect. I have learned so much and I am having the best time playing. I actually got to play a few matches against my dad on our recent trip to AZ. We have attempted playing before, but it is truly miserable. Not this time! Not only am I loving being able to actually play, I look so dang cute in my tennis clothes! Hannah is on the Cross Country team this year at school. She has had two meets so far. I missed the first meet since I was in Florida looking for a house. Thankfully Byron was able to meet her there. She had another one today and we were all able to go as a family. It was a long drive just to get there, but it was worth it. It was a hard course, very hilly, but her team took 1st place! Yea!!!!
