Today Hannah learned something new. How to mow the lawn! She is 10 1/2 now and we decided that she was old enough to start helping out with this chore. Needless to say she wasn't too excited but she did it. Our back yard is slightly sloped, so the front yard is now her job. She did really well actually and decided that it wasn't too difficult(thanks to our self propelled mower). Even though she and Byron started about 9 a.m., by the time she was done, she was hot and sweaty!
Mr. Ross her principal from school was out doing his yard too and stopped to come over and inspect Hannah's work. He gave her a "A". He lives across the street if I hadn't mentioned it before. This will be one of her new Sat. morning chores during mowing season, so if you are near by stop over and have a "look-see"!

Wow! I'm impressed. I keep asking Ivan to teach me. I've been asking for 7 years. Maybe it would be quicker to head to Mississippi! We have friends that just move to Hattiesburg (?) have you heard of it?
