Pumpkin Patch

Today, the 3 and 4 yr. olds at Rachael's preschool took a field trip to the pumpkin patch. It turned out to be more of a farm than just a pumpkin patch which was fun. They had lots of animals, most  of which I failed to get pictures of. It was a Zedonk. Ever heard of it? I hadn't, but it was very apparent that it was a cross between a zebra and a donkey. They also had a "Watusi" calf. They are from Africa and have huge horns! This one is a year old so isn't too big yet. Don't know if I got a picture of it either. I am not very good at remembering to take picutres! I did get some cute ones of Rachael. This was her first field trip. She could have ridden to the farm wth me but she was so excited to ride the school's bus!

At the end of this month, Jack's class is going to the same place. I will get more pictures of the animals and post the unusual ones then.

Hi Elizabeth! Cute pictures. I love the tie-dyed shirts and Rachael looks so big. I miss our pumpkin patch/apple orchard field trips. In fact, probably the last one I went on with Mallory was with you and Hannah too! I do have some cute photos from that trip. Did I ever share them with you?

I'm back and running on the blog! I am jealous of those great fall pictures. I miss MI so much this time of year. I am glad your move is going well. How are the kids doing? Hopefully now I can stay updated!

We have a Nikon D40. We've had it a few years but I love it! We also bought a zoom/sport lens which is what I used for those football pictures. :)
